I am Lizzie, a VSO volunteer based in Kenya from November 2009 to November 2010. I’ll be spending this time in Kerugoya, a small town in Kenya’s Central Province, almost in sight of Mount Kenya. My official role is as a  ’Volunteer Development Advisor’ for the Ministry of Education. My work will be with the Education, Assessment & Referral Centres (EARC’s) for children with disabilities and I’ll be assisting five centres in Central, Eastern and Coast Provinces.
